"The Top" Lists: What they are and why I do them

Hi there! So as you've noticed I've added another section: "The Top ____" lists. Now this idea has been floating around in my head for quite a while, but when I got a blog I realized "Hey, this would be WAY COOL to start!", so I started writing these. There are still a few coming up (and if you have ideas, please comment and tell me).
However, there are a few things I'd like to clear up. Top Five Lists by Devany is a blog I follow, but I started following it after I began my blog. Don't worry, I'm not stealing your idea. Also, Cracked.com has quite a few blog posts based on the "Top ___" idea, but I will say again: I DO NOT PLAGIARIZE. I promise. I've already read the article on Cracked.com that describes what Cracked will do to people who plagiarize. I promise I will NOT steal from their articles, or any other "Top ____" lists out there. Thank you.

First Post!

Hello there!

            As you may have already guessed I am new to the whole “blogging” scene. Seriously, I am. However, that’s not stopping me from starting a blog. I’ve wanted to begin a blog for a while but due to some … issues … I’ve been unable to. I won’t elaborate, but I’ll say this: school, parents, and stress. That’s pretty much what went on there.

            Anyways here’s a little review of the blog that I’ll be doing

            Baubles: I make jewelry. There’ll be little updates and such on what I’m up to, everything from resin crafting to just plain jewelry making. Tutorials and How-To’s will probably be on another blog (if I make another one) – maybe a few tutorials on how to bead (or general ideas), a few tutorials on how to start resin crafting, and maybe one or two tutorials on Duct Tape Crafting (which I also do).

            News: General news about the weather, my life, the college experience, etc. these won’t be very often, since I try not to blather about what goes on in my dorm/etc. this can also be news about what’s in the media (everything from my latest ripping of a Lady GaGa album to high praise on an Ok Go album, etc.).

Other Reviews:  I like giving reviews on movies, concerts, plays, and books; you name it! I’ll probably be reviewing these, but I’ll also do some “chew reviews” – restaurant reviews – as well. There will also be a few rants in this section, a few lists, and some other things that don't classify as reviews...

Anyways, a few rules:
        No spamming and no flaming. If you can’t leave a decent comment, don’t leave one at all. I can’t stand flamers.
        Please be nice to other people
        Please comment! Leave ideas for things I could write about!
